Gene B.12/31/2021I ordered this ring because I am professed in the Order Franciscan Secular. I cannot wear the traditional Tau necklace that is given at profession. I found the ring here at HolyArt and liked the Zamak Tau Ring. The finish of the ring is exactly as expected and desired. It is a mat finish - which is what I wanted. It has a defect that was caused during casting and I could have returned it, but I did not - I thought that it fit in with St. Francis - He was not bright and shiny. He was worn and battle hardened by the spiritual battles he endured. This ring is hardened like St. Francis and will last. I would recommend that if you are looking for a Tau/St. Francis ring - You consider this one. Plus it comes from St. Francis' home country.
