Dark olive wood bark tau cross, 12 cm
Tau cross in olive wood and bark entirely hand-made by expert craftsmen im Assisi. Olive wood undergoes an aging process toegether with its bark for 5-6 years, during this period of time the woodworm lives between the wood and the bark layer without penetrating thus creating patters and small holes on the wood surface. It is a natural process that is exclusively typical of some special wood and during some specific periods. What sometimes is considered a defect can become an added value. FOR A CORRECT MAINTENANCE OF OLIVE WOOD: clean with a cotton cloth with some drops os sunflower seed oil.
