Cross with fish
A small cross made in white ceramics. Its processing is entirely hand made from the initial moulding of the paste the cross goes through a first firing. Afterwards the cross is coloured each colour separately and then fired a second time at a temperature of over 1000°C, which makes the object unchangeable. The word and the symbol of the fish (from ancient Greek ICHTHUS) was used by early Christians as acronym of the name of Jesus and as symbol of the triumph of life over death. The cross is provided with a metal triangle on the back to hang it on the wall and comes in an elegant black matt box with velvet on the inside.
